''Designer of holistic interior products and spaces'' 

After graduating in England with a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design, I was recruited by Philips Design in Eindhoven to join their international design team. This lead to my work as a designer of the products for other world leading brands such as Leolux and de Sede. Next to this I like to share my knowledge and work with design students. For many years I was design lecturer and member of the examination board at the Design Academy in Eindhoven, and currently I am head of course for the Associate Degree in Architectural Crafts at the Academy of Architecture in Maastricht. 

I like to think of myself as a multidisciplinary designer. Interior design and products for in them are my passion. My designs are warm yet minimal and I believe that new is not always better. Sometimes you just need someone with new eyes who can connect/ reconnect everything in a different way to create a new and higher level experience.

When I started at Philips Design as a young designer, I designed the worlds first ever wall mounted- backlit television for them. My ability to think out of the box saw me placed on many projects leading strategic change. Working at and for the top may sound like Rock and Roll, and it can put you on the international design map, but I've learned that it's the work you do for smaller clients that can be the most personally rewarding. Nothing is more fulfilling than seeing the full potential in a design project for a private client, and then being given the trust and opportunity to translate this vision with warmth and care into their dream restaurant, hotel or family home.
